We base our teaching strategy on the stages of human development. This strategy entails keeping up with the current theories on development, routinely observing kids, and continually evaluating the curriculum to make sure that it is suitable for our students in their developmental phases.

We understand that a child’s growth is greatly influenced by their first six years. The toddler and early childhood programmes are therefore just as crucial to the success of the child in school as any other level. We use the Montessori curriculum, which is flexible enough to accommodate various learning paces and styles. Each child studies within a set curriculum that incorporates the requirements for fundamental academic success set by the school. If a child lacks internal motivation or occasionally requires more guidance in a given area, we feel it is our responsibility to acknowledge the personal preference but to guide the child toward that necessary work.

First Step Programs

For toddlers, Kidsmania Preschool and Childcare offers Kidmania’s First Steps, a 6-month programme that helps them get ready for preschool. At Kidsmania, we recognise how crucial social connection is at this developmental stage and how much our kids have missed out on it as a result of the pandemic. With the help of group games and practical activities, our academic professionals have created a programme that focuses on the socio-emotional growth of the students. As they get ready to enter preschool the next year, kids will also learn key speaking and listening skills.

Playgroup

The basis for the preschool experience is laid by a playgroup school. Children are exposed to activities that support their independence in eating, making friends, and adhering to a schedule. By teaching songs, rhymes, and alphabets, we try to establish an environment that will help their language skills. Playtime activities at a play school aid in the development of children’s fine and gross motor skills.

Nursery

The seeds of knowledge & learning are planted in a child right from nursery schools. At Kidsmania, children undergo a language explosion, accompanied with a sharp improvement in fine and gross motor skills, problem-solving skills, independence, and social interaction. They may begin reading two or three words, and become capable of creating clever mathematical patterns.

Getting ready for school
We recognize that kids in our K1/K2 programs—commonly known as Junior KG and Senior KG—will soon start first grade. So, it is crucial that we equip students with the resources they need to excel in school, both academically and non-academically. By the end of kindergarten, kids will be able to write and draw their own tales, do basic math operations, and speak confidently in front of the class.
